Well-Being of Teens Workshops
Well-being of Teens Workshops is a series 5 lunch time drop-in sessions aimed at children who have just transitioned into comprehensive school.
Aiming to work with those students receiving or have previously received ELSA/Thrive support.
We believe that by providing a proactive approach to mental health and wellbeing; where we can offer tools, activities and strategies to the pupils we meet, they will in turn be able to confidently manage their own mental health and wellbeing.
As external providers to the school and pupils we are at an advantage of being able to build relationships in a safe and trusting environment.
During the weekly sessions, which could either be pre-arranged for attendees or could be drop-in sessions, we will provide the students with fun and engaging activities that challenge thoughts around mental health.
Other activities will include breathing techniques, looking at the importance of positive relationships and who we can look to when we need support.
